Mike Joined Sainsbury's as a Saturday student in Chingford in 1975. Moved to Stamford Street as an accounts clerk in Fresh Meat Trading in 1979. Several buying roles from 1984 till 2008 including Deputy head of Bakery and Meat Buying and Head of Fresh Produce from 1997 till 2001. Leadership of PICO working across Operations and finally Convenience stores before leaving JS in 2008. Spent 12 years with Subway before retirement in 2020. Treasurer of London Veterans since 2017.
